Parallel Parking

Step by step

1. 1Signal and pull even with the car ahead, about 2–3 feet apart.
2. 2Shift to reverse, turn the wheel fully toward the curb, and back in slowly.
3. 3When your front bumper clears the rear bumper of the front car, straighten then counter-steer.
4. 4Center the vehicle, leave room front and back, and set the parking brake if needed.
